The National Association of Women Business Owners proudly presents Mary Marso, CEO/Owner of Jeane Thorne Inc., with the Lifetime Achievement Award at their 2008 Annual Gala.
The Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes a NAWBO member whose success substantiated by 20 or more years as a business owner. The award is based on long-term success and leadership, and is presented to someone known for not only her respected achievements, but also for her tenacity in facing challenges.'Mary Marso's reputation in Minnesota and nationally for both her business and philanthropic accomplishments made her the ideal choice to receive this year's award.
In her acceptance speech Mary sited the important role of the many mentors in her life who's example, guidance, and lessons provided have greatly enriched her life; and gave special recognition to Jeane Thorne, the individual (in attendance at Mary's table), who provided Mary and her family with such a great opportunity to purchase Jeane Thorne Inc (the company).
